Lauren Hom is a designer and illustrator based in New York City. Some of her favorite things include: tiny paint brushes, tangerine nail polish and peanut butter straight from the jar.

Born and raised in sunny Southern California, she spent her afternoons cluttering the sidewalk with chalk drawings of flowers, puppies, and other adorable crap.

From the age of three, she knew she wanted to be some kind of artist. She moved to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts, where she took an interest silkscreening, book binding, and stamp carving. Though she enjoys the precision and speed that comes with working on the computer, the heart of her craft lies within the uncertain beauty of the handmade.
