After graduation I moved to Chicago and spent 6 months working as the Design Intern for The Addams Family musical which opened on Broadway the following Spring. In the Fall of 2010 I moved to the Boston area and began working as a freelance Costume Designer but quickly decided that I wanted to focus more on my Art. I started my Art career as a portrait artist and slowly moved into illustration.
I mostly work with Watercolor, Graphite and Ink. I am inspired mostly by the people in my life, especially the women, but I also find a lot of inspiration from classic movies, books, animals, antique stores, music and my Southern roots. There’s nothing like a black and white film and a large glass of Sweet Tea to get me inspired!
